Somewhere between gumboots and gospel, beneath baobabs and above the bassline, a potjie has been bubbling for generations — stories, secrets, spices, and that unspoken flavour we call gees.
And out of that stew rises Kevin Fraser — comedian, cultural translator, and part-time potjie genie — ready to stir it all with satire, sneakers, and a suspiciously deep understanding of aunties.
This journey crosses Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Eswatini, and Mauritius — from Lusaka’s side-eye to Cape Town’s rhythm, the deserts of Namibia to the island beats of Mauritius.
This isn’t just comedy. It’s a pilgrimage into the chaos, character, and soul that make Africa the Heart of the World.
